..as most roomies know I have been making a very intricate Christmas stocking..all with felt and embroidery and sequins..it even has lights !!! Well it’s Christmas eve and I finished it !!!! So can you let the roomies see please…I hope u can see the piccy xxxx

This weeks brag comes from cucaracha. She tells us the story of her wedding with a spooky Halloween Twist.
My husband Jimmy and I decided to have our wedding in Las Vegas. Although we would have loved a ‘fancy’ wedding at home, I knew I would miss my bairns too much if we were surrounded by family and friends.
My son James was killed in an accident at work when he was 22, and my daughter Lyndsay died at 26 of liver failure.
So our witnesses in Las Vegas were the photographer and the lad who operated the video camera.
All went well, with a beautiful service in the chapel at the Stratosphere Hotel.
When we returned to our room, Jimmy looked at the Marriage Certificate. He was very quiet for a while, then looked at me and said ‘ Our witnesses names were James and Linsey’.
I believe I received the gift of my children’s blessing on our special day!!

A Shining Son
I would like to brag about my son Jake, he is only 13 years old, and i don’t know what i would do without him. He is always there to listen to me whinging and moaning, and if there is anything i would want (go round to the shop, help clean the house, or make me a cuppa) he would do it for me. He is the best son i could ever ask for. Thank you Jake.

A Hero on Two Wheels
I would like to share something my daughter did for cancer. I will copy the words as it has them in the local newspaper. I’m very proud of her.
A kind hearted schoolgirl from Dundee put pedal power into action to help raise over 300 pound for Maggies Centre. Fintry Primary pupil, Chloe Boath (11) cycled across the Tay Road Bridge six times to raise money and staff at the school also held a coffee morning to raise additional funds. To prepare for the active challenge in September, Chloe took part in road safety training with community police officer Steve Borland. Valerie Busher, fund-raising coordinator for the Maggies Centre, went along to the Finavon Terrace School today to collect the 310 pound cheque from Chloe. Jacqui McCracken, support for learning teacher at the school, said it is a fantastic achievement. Chloe did so well and we are all very proud of her. She raised so much money. It is fantastic. Here is me and my son richard who has joined the RAF. He leaves on the 20th sept 09, I am so proud of him that I give him all my winnings from livebingo to take with him!
He is going to honnington where he will be based. I am amongst many many parents who have this proudness and worry, but he is doing what he has always wanted to do. I just wanted to share this very proud moment. Here he is in his shirt and tie (seems like yesterday i was changing his nappy!! lol ) He had just got back from signing his contract and been given his number. He is well chuffed he has signed for 9yrs!! All my love to you my son (my baby) mandy6445
I started dieting in January of this year and have so far managed to lose 2st 3lbs. During this time I have done a sponsored slim for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and raise over £165. The picture is of myself with Amos, which is my friends Hearing Dog. My friend is profoundly deaf and relies on Amos for various things Like alerting her when someone is at the door, when the smoke alarm goes off etc.

On the 5th sept we celerbrated our 39th wedding anniversary, that in it’s self I think that in it’s self is somthing to brag !!
You see in 2007 my husband had a big opperation for bowel cancer. Thank god he was one of the lucky ones. We had a lovley meal with my daughter Louise, son in law Rob and granddaughter Charlie. I’m not just braging, but I am a very happy person.

This week I have been married for 12 weeks! We had a folkloristic wedding in midsummer in the village where I grew up. On the pic we’re both wearing the traditional costumes of this part of Sweden. It was really the wedding of my dreams

My eldest daugter isabelle got married last october, it was a beautiful wedding. She wanted 2 white horses and carriage going to the reception. Her father passed away 2 years ago so she wanted me to give her away so I did with joy. On the picture you can see myself and my 2 other daughters as bridemaids in the carriage.
Plus 4 months later I was taking by emergency to hospital when I was in agony with a blood clot on my lungs, with full recovery now, thank god !!!
