Feedback Fiver: Jackpot Dreams

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Now that the Lava Lounge jackpot has passed £4,000 it got me thinking.
What would you spend the jackpot win on? Would you be all grown up, serious and pay the bills or would you blow the lot on your family and friends?

I can’t promise you the £4,000 but I can promise £5 bonus for the best and interesting replies I receive.

Great British Summer!

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Well Howdy Doody ya’ll.

I’m sorry I went all cowboy there, been watching Toy Story with Bel!

How we all diddling? Good I hope. Hands up how many got sunburnt? It’s amazing isn’t it 3 days of blistering heat and Great Britain runs into the back gardens and frys. We all sit and moan it’s too hot. Now the grey murky rain has returned and we are all moaning that we are cold. Just ain’t happy are we lol?

Anyway’s enough of my observations lol.

A nice big friendly wave to Rainbow room, and can I say wow. All the colours of the rainbow and some colourful characters too lol. No I’m not talking about you Dan, Polly and Jen, get back in the cage who let you out!

Oh yes I mustn’t forget…..This Sunday at 7pm in Lava Lounge…Drum Roll Please! Join us in Lava at 7pm to play against our team of Chat Hosts in our version of this popular board game. The starting pot is £10.00.  Each player and CH picks 2 numbers 1 – 90.  Be the first to shout when your numbers are called to win.  If you’re a player shout “ladders” and £10 will be added to the pot, if you’re a CH shout “snakes” and £10.00 will be taken away.  At the end of the hour whatever is in the pot will be shared between every player actively participating in chat and buying tickets. To win a share of the pot you must be in chat and participating by 7.30pm. Players must have made a successful deposit in the month it plays to receive a share of the pot. Chat Hosts will not be buying tickets throughout this hour. (tut!)

Also quick reminder you have less than 24 hours to enter the Eurovision Promo we are running. It’s Eurovision on this Saturday and the theme of the 55th Eurovision Song Contest is ‘Share The Moment’. We want to share the Eurovision Song Contest with you! Email aly@livebingo.co.uk the country you think will win this year’s competition. There is £100 Eurovision pot up for grabs. Everyone that picks the winning country will share the £100 Eurovision pot. Will it be nil points for you or a share of the Eurovision pot? All entries must be in by Friday 28th May at 1pm to qualify for a share of our moment and players must have made a deposit in May to enter.  All the chat hosts have entered, they can’t win a prize but we all like healthy rivalry lol. I’m looking forward to the boom banga bangs and ompha pa pa’s.

A warm welcome back to Double Dosh, we have missed you in Wonderland. For one hour a day whatever is won in the room will be matched in bonus cash. How good is that? All you have to do is bingo on the Pattern, be actively participating in chat and give the CH on duty a ty for wins to be awarded. Two wins per player per hour only. Players must have deposited in the last 7 days to play in this promotion (excluding Jackpot wins).

Don’t forget to check out all the promotions we have running located from the home page!

Well I am puffed after all that….need a lie down lol.

I hope to see you out and about, I am always around, So give me a shout.

I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles!

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Well Bonjour Bingo Babies!

How are we all diddling today?

I hope you are well and full of the freshness of spring! Oh ark at me sounds like a fabric softener advert!

For all of our new players let me introduce myself. Hello! I’m Aly, your community manager. Ian before you say owt no not care in the community.

If you need anything Aunty Aly is always around. The kettle is always on and I love a good gossip.

If you read most of my blogs I mention Bel a lot. She’s my daughter, my devilchild, my mini me! Life wouldn’t be normal if we didn’t have at least one drama a day in Casa del AlynBel. This week has been no different!

We have a new chat host join us called Jen. (All wave to Jen, Jen waves back!) Well, Jen has a lovely picture, and Bel thought so too. “I love her hair mum” Bel declared. In the picture our Jen has lovely blonde hair with black ends. Bel seemed to like the style….so much so that an hour after telling me how much she liked Jen’s hair I discovered her felt tip box empty and the ends of Bel’s hair coloured in all different shades of the rainbow! The label on the box that says washable is lying btw! Bel went off to school with hair like Josephs coat.

That’s nothing compared to what happened a few weeks ago….Take 2 bottles into the shower? No not my Bel. Half a bottle of Matey, a Jacuzzi bath and a Bel does not make a happy mummy! I was in the kitchen and I could hear her shouting and hollering as is the usual at bath time. Then came the faint whimper “Mum help meeeee”. I shot up the stairs to be confronted with a wall of bubbles coming towards me across the landing.  “It was an accident” Bel’s favourite phrase followed the bubbles coming to get me.  I had to fight my way through the soapy suds (yes ok I’m exaggerating for dramatic effect) until I reached the bathroom door. I made sure Bel was ok and not too traumatised and set to work with my vax nozzle attachment. Super Aly saves the day and the landing carpet!!!

All in a days life at Casa del AlynBel. So next time you grump that your kids are driving you mad think on……you could have Bel mwhahahahahaahaaaaaaaaaaa!

Anyways, there’s someone knocking at the door. It’s either someone from Vidal Sassoon to sort Bel’s hair or someone from the Royal Society for the Protection of Landing Carpets or the RSPLC as they are known!

Adios Amigos

Be Good!

And If Ya Can’t Be Good Blame Donna (I know I do)!!!!

I put three loads of washing in last night and thought to myself “that go on the line nice and early” and wouldn’t you know it I got up to torrential rain this morning. Thanks a lot. Thinks that’s called sods law I hear you all comment. Yeah well I know that now don’t I tut. I now need a sign saying “Welcome to Alys laundry”. Can’t get in spare room for hanging wet towels and undies. Just as well there’s only Bel and me here.

Drop me a line at aly@livebingo.co.uk with your fundraising adventures and I will add to my corner to share with the rest of our online bingo family!
