My dreams would come true in one foul swoop if I won a million pounds playing Bingo. It would take a few days for the initial shock of winning to sink in. As soon as the cheque would come I’d get in into the bank. I can imagine the look on the cashiers face when she looks at the amount.

Then I would sit down and write a list of what I can spend this life changing amount on. First of all I would pay off all my bills in full and any other direct debits, so I owe everyone absolutely nothing. Then I would be chauffeur driven down to Cornwall, where I would get my parents and brother and nephews together and surprise them with ten grand each. As there is only six of them, that’s just a nip at the million.

My dream has always been to live in Cornwall, not just because my family are there. It’s the prettiest part of the United Kingdom. I would buy a cottage or a house straight out, so I would have no mortgage. I would furnish it with tradition country furniture but with a modern twist.

Next I would upgrade my economy seat to the United States to first or business class and travel in style. I stay with friends in the US but I will plan another visit and go to Las Vegas and Disney Land as these are two of my top destinations. Again I would travel in style and book into the best hotels.

I would also donate some money towards the theatre company I belong to as they are a charitable organisation. I would help them to have better facilities such as dressing rooms and props.
I would also give a large sum to the cancer unit in Cornwall, as they helped my dad when he was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer.
After all that spending I would sit down and admire the work I’d done by making my life and others involved much happier.
